Wente’s

What a hole in the wall find! We were out at the chesterfield outlet mall and wanted a burger for lunch so stopped by Wente's around 12. It has just opened and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious! Staff was friendly and easy going. It's definitely more of a bar though, so be aware of that if you're wanting to dine at dinner time. Also, great homemade ranch! (From a ranch snob)

Ran in for a quick bite between volleyball games with a party of 5. Food: we had apples and drinks. Everything was solid. Pretzel bites, Quisidilla, fried clams, cheese bites and trashed wings hit the table and disappeared quickly. Great draft selection and cold!!! Service: they were short-staffed due to the winter weather. Two inches of ice. It was amazing to see the bar and kitchen staff jump in to serve their customers. It was obvious they cared about our experience and did not disappoint. This place is a hidden gem. I've driven by so many times, but this was my first visit and I will be back. Great small business with caring staff. My kind of place.

Updated review 9/29/24 Long time local bat and grill still serving up delicious food and drinks. This place is kid friendly, has a bar, outdoor seating and certain times they have music. Service was attentive and very friendly and food was delicious as usual.

Wente's in Gumbo Flats (aka Chesterfield Valley) is a great choice to grab a cold beer, some smoked chicken wings, burgers and watch your favorite sports inside or outside. Tasty!

It has been years since I was here. A bit different than what I remember but the beer is cold , the partly melt was great and the service was fast. What more can you ask for?!

We've been to Wente's a number of times over the years and have always had a positive experience. It's super casual! There is seating indoors and outside. I think the outside is always covered. There are some fans which is a big plus on warm days. The menu is a decent size. It's basically bar food and some healthier options. The service is good and the staff is pretty friendly. They have live music there. I've only been once when a band was there, but it was enjoyable. We were out and decided to stop by. It was really cold outside. The band was in the covered outside area and there were some space heaters, but it was still really cold! I recommend dressing accordingly! If you're looking to chill and eat some decent bar food - Wente's is the place!

Excellent, tasty, and satisfying food! Chicken Philly ....A+! Curly Fries....A+! Diet Coke (not Pepsi!)...A+! Heinz Ketchup (not off-brand!)...A+! Friendly and Attentive Service....A+! Ambiance (fun)....A+! We'll be back!!!

Went here for a weekday lunch and had a great experience! The food was great bar food- the side salad was huge, husband's burger was great, and pepper jack cheese balls are always a win. The service was fast and friendly, which you don't always get! The perfect lunch stop if you're out visiting the outlet mall.

We met some friends here for a Sunday afternoon late lunch and drinks. We were able to sit outside in the covered patio area - they also had heaters going which kept it nice and warm. We had pizza, wings and some varied appetizers around the table. All the food was good and the ranch was very good. We were here for a few hours with people drinking and eating and the server kept up with us pretty well. She was not really friendly but we were glad she was there so the patio was open.
